3-Day Allagash River “Relaxer” Guided Canoe Trip

Starting Point: Round Pond

Take out: Town of Allagash, AGS Landing

Price: $850 per paddler (min. 4 / max. of 10 paddlers)

Guided Allagash River trips include:

  • Orientation and basic paddling
  • Transportation as a group to Henderson Bridge
  • Canoe rentals, Life Vests, Paddles
  • One large dry bag per paddler
  • Tent and sleeping pad
  • Knowledgeable Guide to lead the group along the waterway
  • Meals from the morning you arrive, until lunch on departure day

Itinerary

  1. Arrive at our Main Lodge by 7am on put-in date.
  2. Basic orientation, breakfast items and meet and greet for everyone.
  3. Get everything packed up and ready to go around 8/8:30.
  4. Park your vehicles at canoe landing and we will transport everyone to Henderson Bridge.
  5. Arrive at Henderson Bridge around 9:30/10, and get things unloaded.
  6. Have a quick lunch, load up canoes, and begin your trip down the river.
  7. Paddle to Round Pond, continue on through for about ten to twelve miles, and find a campsite for the first night. Planning to camp at one of the Five Finger Brooks campsites.
  8. Set up camp, tents, shelter over tables, gather firewood, build a fire & more.
  9. Relax for the evening, eat dinner, and enjoy your first night in the wilderness!
  10. Wake up and have breakfast around 8 am, clean up camp, pack up and out on the river.
  11. Paddle to Michaud Farm, have lunch, continue on, and aim to camp at one of the sites by Allagash Falls.
    Set up camp, tents, shelter over tables, gather firewood, get a fire started & more.
    Relax for the evening, eat dinner, and enjoy your second night in the wilderness!
  12. Wake up and have breakfast around 8 am, clean up camp, pack up and out on the river.
  13. Paddle the remaining 12-15 miles to the take-out.
  14. Load all the gear and return to the lodge for lunch and unpacking before your departure.
